Driving course for 15-17 years olds

It has long been known as a fact that children are quick learners! We here at the Driver Trainer Network are offering pre-17yr olds “Young Drivers’ Safety Skills”. A new initiative designed to provide younger drivers the essential key skills they will need once they are ready for actual driving lessons on the roads.

HOW IT WORKS

Driving course for 15-17 years olds

The course is delivered by fully qualified DVSA Approved Driving Instructors. With full public liability insurance for off-road tuition, your child will be in a safe and secure off-road environment. The locations will vary from time to time to suit business needs. 
The facilities will include, free public parking and viewing area. Some locations may include outside catering facilities, which will be independently serviced. 

The Young Drivers’ Safety Skills will include:

  • Moving off safely from the side of the road
  • Stopping safely and securing the vehicle
  • Steering exercises; figure of eight
  • Steering exercises; slalom
  • Steering exercises; bends short course
  • Steering exercises; bends long course
  • Steering exercises; reverse in narrow spaces
  • Roundabouts - basic approach & signalling
  • Parallel park exercise
  • Reverse bay parking
  • Forward bay park & reverse out
  • Pull-up on the right, reverse & rejoin

Amongst other driving and steering activities. Limited places available so ensure you book in advance to avoid disappointment. Block booking discounts also available.
